Many PC, Netbook and Smartbook owners do now know that it's actually quite simple to install a memory upgrade into your PC.

Keep in mind that for a rather simple task, technicians, such as the Black & White guys from GeekSquad are charging premium fees for a few minutes worth of work.

For our example below, we're using a video where a Dell Mini will be upgraded to hold 2 Gigabytes of RAM.

As you can see, the procedure is rather simple and doesn't require the skills of a trained technician.

Most commonly, a memory upgrade will NOT void your warranty - however, we always advise to read the documentation and if in doubt, call the manufacturer of your device.
